Guided Tour of ITER:

Get an inside look at the construction site of one of the most ambitious scientific projects in history: ITER, the international tokamak under construction near Cadarache.

Please note: a valid official photo ID is mandatory (driving licenses and professional badges are not accepted). Long trousers are required (shorts, dresses and skirts are not permitted). Flat, closed-toe shoes are mandatory (open or high-heeled shoes are not permitted).

Guided Tour of WEST:
1 hour

Discover WEST, the French experimental tokamak of CEA-IRFM, located at the Cadarache centre.

Guided Tour of Aix-en-Provence:

Explore the heart of Aix-en-Provence with an English-speaking guide. Stroll through elegant Baroque fountains, charming pedestrian streets and historic squares that have shaped this city’s unique character over the centuries. A perfect introduction to one of Provence’s most beloved cities.

Granet Museum:
1 hour 30 minutes

Located in the historic center of Aix-en-Provence, the Granet Museum houses an exceptional collection spanning from Antiquity to the present day, with a particular focus on works connected to the region — including pieces by Paul Cézanne, the painter most emblematic of Aix. A cultural gem not to be missed.

Calanques de Cassis Boat Tour:

Setting off from the picturesque port of Cassis, board a hybrid electric boat and discover the first three calanques of the national park: Port-Miou, Port-Pin and En-Vau. Marvel at the dramatic limestone cliffs plunging into crystal-clear turquoise waters — a true natural wonder of the French Mediterranean coast.

Sainte-Victoire Hike:
2 hours 30 minutes to 3 hours

Discover the iconic Sainte-Victoire massif on a guided half-day hike departing from the village of Le Tholonet. Walk in the footsteps of Paul Cézanne, who immortalized this mountain in countless paintings, while your professional guide shares stories of the region’s Mediterranean flora, history and Provençal heritage. Suitable for all, with approximately 200 m of elevation gain. Sturdy shoes with grip and 0.75 L of water per person required.
